Mark Cook
Managing Director | Private Wealth Advisor
Focus
As the son of two financial advisors, Mark grew up discussing financial matters around the dinner table. Mark considers one of the greatest perks of his job being able to work with his mother, Annmarie, as his full time partner and professional mentor. Together, they are able to collectively serve their clients through all stages of life while building multi-generational relationships.
Nothing gives him more joy and fulfillment than knowing that he has helped others. This shows in his relationships with his clients now as it did in his former military career. Mark’s experience in the Air Force also taught him the importance of discipline and being able to formulate and implement efficient processes. Those life lessons have translated into a wealth management approach that is as thorough as it is simplified.
Background & Experience
Prior to starting Cook Legacy Advisors with Annmarie, Mark provided financial services at Wells Fargo Advisors, and served ultra-high net worth clientele at Vanguard. Mark holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance from Alabama State University as well as an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Rowan University. Mark has obtained licensing for life & health insurance as well as his series 7, 63, and 66 which are currently held with LPL Financial.
Away from the Office
Mark’s life outside the office revolves around his family: wife Ashley, their two dogs Kenji and Rajah, and their cat Miley. They enjoy hiking, fishing, and watching movies together. He is a dedicated Eagles fan, and is also passionate about supporting our veterans, volunteering with the special needs community, and educating youth on personal finance.
